Charles I. Cate
Of Counsel
Mr. Cate practices in the areas of tax litigation, tax and business planning, estate planning, securities litigation, criminal defense, and estate litigation and administration with 18 years of experience. Mr. Cate is Of Counsel to HANNON LAW GROUP, LLP, with his office located in Alexandria, VA.
Mr. Cate earned an LLM at the Georgetown University Law Center while working as an attorney with the National Office of the Internal Revenue Service. Following a career in investment banking, Mr. Cate returned to the private practices of the law. Prior to his law career, Mr. Cate was awarded the Bronze Star as a Captain in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
