Ann-Kathryn So
Associate

Ms. So received her Juris Doctor degree from the Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law in 2007. While pursuing her legal degree, she worked as a law clerk with Hannon Law Group since May, 2006, where she focused on labor and employment matters. Ms. So also interned with the Naval Criminal Investigative Service where she researched criminal issues such as the legality of recording telephone conversations. As a student, Ms. So was active in the Moot Court Association, Black Law Students Association and Alternative Dispute Resolution Society. She and her teammates advanced to the quaterfinals of the NBLSA Thurgood Marshall Mock Trial Competition.

Prior to beginning her legal studies, Ms. So held a variety of positions within the law firm of Carter, Ledyard & Milburn, LLP. She began her career with Carter, Ledyard & Milburn, LLP as a paraprofessional, then becoming Office Manager and ultimately a Legal Assistant. As Legal Assistant, Ms. So conducted legal research, performed document reviews and prepared FDA filings.

While an undergraduate at George Washington University, Ms. So was a member of the collegiate rowing team and continued in the sport as part of the Competitive Rowing Program. Her love of the sport also led her to become a Board Member of the Capital Rowing Club (1997-1999).
