Emily B. Sprague

Emily B. Sprague joined Hannon Law Group as an Associate in June 2011. Her practice areas include criminal defense, civil litigation, and employment law. Ms. Sprague is admitted to practice before the Courts of Maryland and the District of Columbia; she is also a member of the American Bar Association, Maryland State Bar Association, and Anne Arundel County Bar Association.

Ms. Sprague earned her J.D. from the Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law in 2010, where she was a published member of the Catholic University Law Review. Throughout law school, she served as a law clerk for the Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office in Alexandria, Virginia. From August 2010 to May 2011, Ms. Sprague served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Michele D. Jaklistch in the Anne Arundel Circuit Court in Annapolis, Maryland.

In 2007, Ms. Sprague earned her B.A. in International Relations from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where she played four years of Division I soccer. While at Saint Joseph’s, Ms. Sprague was also a member of the Pi Sigma Alpha Honor Society in Political Science, Phi Alpha Pheta International Honor Society in History, and National Society of Collegiate Scholars.

A native of Fairfax Station, Virginia, Ms. Sprague now resides in Alexandria, Virginia with her husband. Ms. Sprague enjoys running, dining out, and caramel candies.
