Amanda Tomack joined HANNON LAW GROUP in October 2022. Before joining, Amanda worked for a union-side labor law firm in the D.C. area for a year and clerked in D.C. Superior Court’s Landlord and Tenant Division. She grew up in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Amanda completed her B.A. at the Ohio State University and earned a master’s degree in early-child education from George Mason University where she graduated summa cum laude. Before beginning her legal career, Amanda spent six years teaching in the District of Columbia Public Schools through Teach for America. Amanda earned her J.D. from American University, where she graduated cum laude. During law school, Amanda interned for the Civil Rights Division in the Department of Justice and was awarded a Peggy Browning Fellowship which she completed at the American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees (AFSCME).
