Erik H. Fawcett joined HANNON LAW GROUP as an Associate in 2019. He began his law career as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Judge Danya Dayson at D.C. Superior Court and then served as an Associate attorney at a small litigation firm in Maryland.
Erik graduated cum lade from the Catholic University Columbus School of Law in May of 2016. During law school, Erik was an Associate Editor for the Catholic University Law Review and also participated in Moot Court. Erik also served as a Student Attorney for the Advocacy for the Elderly Clinic.
While pursuing his legal studies, Erik served as legislative staff for Congresswoman Moore (WI-04) in the U.S. House of Representatives, where he managed a diverse policy portfolio including telecom, judiciary, immigration, civil rights, energy and commerce, budget, appropriations, and other legislative issues.
Erik earned his bachelor’s degree in political science from Rollins College.
Erik is admitted to practice in Maryland and an applicant to admission to the District of Columbia Bar. He currently practices in the District of Columbia under Rule 49(c)(8) of the D.C. Court of Appeals and under the supervision of J. Michael Hannon.
