Kieran Reilly joined HANNON LAW GROUP as an Associate in April 2021, after serving as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Civil Magistrate Judges in the District of Columbia Superior Court. Prior to that, Kieran was a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Philip S. Jackson in the Circuit Court of Baltimore City, Maryland.
Kieran was born and raised in the D.C. area and attended Academy of the Holy Cross in Kensington, Maryland prior to graduating from James Madison University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Justice Studies and a minor in Political Science. She earned her Juris Doctor from the Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law in 2019.
While in law school, Kieran developed an interest in animal protection issues, and interned with the Environmental Protection Agency, the Animal Welfare Institute, the Humane Society of the United States, and the Animal Legal Defense Fund. Kieran was the President of the Environmental Law Society and the Founder and President of the CUA Student Animal Legal Defense Fund. She also served as an Associate Editor for the Catholic University of America Law Review.
Kieran currently resides in Kensington, Maryland with her partner, two rescue pitbulls, and her rescue cat.
