HLG WINS GRIEVANCE ON D.C. EMPLOYEE INCIDENT REPORTING

Four District of Columbia employees, represented by J. Scott Hagood and Talon R. Hurst, grieved their 9 day suspensions for making false statements in their Incident Reports. The D.C. Department of Corrections claimed the reports needed more detail. An arbitrator overturned the discipline because DOC had no rules or training on how to complete the Report.
