Ann-Kathryn So Rejoins Hannon Law Firm

Ann-Kathryn So has rejoined HANNON LAW GROUP as a Senior Associate. Prior to her return, Ann served for nine years with the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS). During that federal government service, she managed significant and classified matters for the Department of the Navy and the Department of Homeland Security. She acted as liaison with the many other intelligence services of our country. In 2018, she was honored as the NCIS Civilian of the Year for Intelligence Analysis.

Ann and her family have lifetime ties to the District of Columbia. Ann graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School, and later the George Washington University. She graduated from the Columbus School of Law of the Catholic University of America, where she was active in the Moot Court Association, Black Law Students Association and Alternative Dispute Resolution Society. She and her teammates advanced to the quarterfinals of the NBLSA Thurgood Marshall Mock Trial Competition.

While an undergraduate at the George Washington University, Ann was a member of their NCAA Division I collegiate rowing team, and continued in the sport as part of the Capital Rowing Club’s Competitive Rowing Program. Her love of the sport also led her to become a Board Member of the Capital Rowing Club (1997-1999). She also has run in several marathons, including the Marine Corps Marathon and the Honolulu Marathon.
